The Ashe Juniper or Western Cedar (Juniperus ashei), is the face of central Texas. A walk in the Texas Hill Country without the fragrant smell of Ashe juniper is rare. Its a brilliant dark green evergreen tree that has very durable wood that is valuable for its grain and longevity. A great pick for bonsai! Seed require 30 days stratification before sowing.
