Desert Bird of Paradise, also known as Hardy Bird of Paradise, is a deciduous shrub native to Argentina and Uruguay. It has become a popular ornamental plant for its lacey, pewter foliage and striking yellow flowers. A great and more cold hardy alternative to the more common C. pulcherimma.
